In the period between March 22 to April 4, there will be an exhibition “Teacher and Students”. The exposition will display the selected works by the artists, as well as works by his many students.
Yury I. Chuvashev is a Moscow Polytech merited professor, member of Union of Artists, PhD in history of arts, honored employee of the Higher School of the Russian Federation, outstanding teacher who has brought up several generations of students.
In 1965, he applied to the Faculty of Artistic-Technical Design of Printed Products. In 1970, obtained diploma with honors in artistic graphics. Studies under supervision of P. Zakharov, A. Goncharov, V. Lyakhov. In 1975, defended his thesis in “Artistic Design of USSR Jourals”. From 1977 to 1988 was taking the administrative positions.
Since 1988 has been the member of the Union of Artists. Participated in Moscow, regional, republican, national and artistic exhibition. He has been working with easel painting, graphics and illustration.
The opening ceremony will take place on artist`s birthday on March 22 at 17:00 at Mikhalkovskaya st., 7.
