Moscow Polytech Students Invited to Participate in Project "Global Ambassadors of the Russian Language"

The new intake of volunteers for the international program "Global Ambassadors of the Russian Language " is held by A.S. Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language under assistance of the Ministry of Education of Russia. The main goal of the project is to promote the Russian language and culture abroad.

The new intake of volunteers for the international program "Global Ambassadors of the Russian Language " is held by A.S. Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language under assistance of the Ministry of Education of Russia. The main goal of the project is to promote the Russian language and culture abroad.

Students, postgraduate students, and young professionals aged 18 to 30 with experience in volunteering, project activities, and teaching, who know and love the Russian language and culture, and who want to develop in the field of international relations, are invited to participate.

After a special training, volunteers undertake educational expeditions to foreign countries where they host interactive classes about the Russian language, culture, and literature for school and university students, while also getting acquainted with the culture and traditions of the host country. Participation in the program is free.

The selection process comprises two stages:

The first stage of selection is remote, applications are accepted until May 13, 2024.

The second stage is an in-person form and held as part of a large-scale youth forum.

Over the eight years of the project, more than 50,000 students from Russia and other countries have participated in educational events organized by the ambassadors of the Russian language. After the selection process, 332 people were chosen to participate in the program (6,500 applications were received from 187 universities).
