About the program

The idea to realize “Graphics” specialization on two parallel specializations “Design of printed products” and “Animation and computer graphics designer” is based on the labor market demands in cross platform specialists, possessing technical and creative skills, capable in basic work with analog and digital devices, as well specialized in the area of one of two platforms. Programs are tasked with training media industry specialists: book and graphic design, animation, interface design, book and digital illustration. During their studies student participate in artistic and creative (creation of authorship works), project (development and execution of individual of collective project in media industry), technologic (definition of production sequence, materials, technology and equipment of replicated product manufacture, both analog and digital) activities.
Both educational programs combine into cooperative educational system of the graduates, because they have to possess basic universal competencies, regardless of chosen specialization.

Objects of graduates’ professional activities include: authorship art work and design projects of visual information objects, identification and communication, publications.

While undergoing training undere the educational program the students will acquire techniques of drawing and painting, methods and skills of illustrating, modern methods and technologies of design-engineering.They conduct active creative and professional activity, participate in and win all-Russia and international art, book, illustrating, designers and media exhibitions and projects.
