This is the profession wh ere creativity is combined with strict adherence to standards. High education gives the opportunity to work in engineering specialties. Students get the following knowledge during their studies: knowledge about organization and management of all kinds of construction work, basics of geology and geodesy, architecture and design of buildings, properties of building materials and aspects of their usage, skills of making and reading drafts, ability to work in specialized computer programmes, skills to calculate the volume and cost of upcoming work, safety rules on a facility, skills of quality control of works performed and elimination of shortcomings in time, features of operation of ready-made buildings.
