In total, there were 8 sports nominations: CS2, Dota2, LOL, StarCraft II, Тekken, Valorant, WoT, MLBB. Moscow Polytech representatives were especially good in Valorant. Initially, they took the place in the upper bracket of the tournament but in the 3rd round had to continue fighting in the lower bracket. However, there were no equals to compete with till the very end of the finals where the guys. Unfortunately, the return match wasn`t successful and resulted in Moscow Polytech losing with a score of 1:2. Nevertheless, it granted the University team the right to put on bronze medals. The university representatives in CS2 took the 4th place.
“I`m satisfied with the result. Yes, we could do better and we definitely will be striving for that. 14th season of Moscow CyberSports Student League is a regional stage of the Russian national CyberSports League. The university teams that took 1 and 3 places are passed to the next stage. The funding size is 3 000 010 and will be allocated between the teams according to the places they took”, – says the head and coach of the Moscow Polytech CyberSports Club Alexander Malikov.
