The opening of the final stage of the Olympiad on the profile "Autonomous transport systems" of the Scientific and Technical Conference of the NTI took place

On April 14, at the site of the partner of Moscow Polytechnic University - Academy of High Technologies LLC, the opening of the final of the Olympiad of the Workshop Movement of the National Technological Initiative (WM NTI) in Autonomous Transport Systems profile took place. The Moscow Polytechnic University is traditionally the organizer and developer of this Olympiad profile in conjunction with the Academy of High Technologies LLC and Copter Express Technologies LLC.

At the online opening, the University was represented by Guyzel Sharipzyanova, Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Moscow Poly, and Maxim Arkhipov, Associate Professor of the Department of Automation and Control. The participants noted that this year is doubly festive for partners - in 2020 Moscow Polytechnic University celebrates its 155th anniversary, and the NTI Olympiad carres on to unite talented students from all over Russia for 5 years.

In 2020, the finals are held for the first time in a distributed online format. From April 14 to 17, finalists will be able to write programs directly from home to launch and manage autonomous transport systems and represent them to the Estimating Commitee. The control code written by the participants is sent to the Center for Organization of Movement of Unmanned Vehicles - to the main site, equipped with a training ground, copters, cars and controlled by experts. There is a constant video broadcast from the center, feedback is carried out through video calls.

From April 21 to April 24 the final of the Olympiad of the "WM NTI" will be held in the online format on the "Cityfire" profile, also developed by Moscow Poly.
